Entrepreneurial intention reflects an individual's desire for entrepreneurship and their potential to act accordingly. In this context, entrepreneurial intention is a key indicator in understanding an individual's decision-making process to become an entrepreneur. Furthermore, determining which type of entrepreneurship individuals are more likely to incline—opportunistic entrepreneurship and creative entrepreneurship—is crucial for understanding the dynamics of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly in the agricultural sector. Considering the contraction in the agricultural sector and the sector's need for entrepreneurship, the aim of this research is to examine the entrepreneurial intentions of senior agricultural faculty students and their tendencies to these two basic entrepreneurship types, in terms of gender. By reaching a full sample size through the survey of students who had taken entrepreneurship courses within the research population, the data were analyzed descriptively and correlational. Of the 169 participants, 45% are undecided about their entrepreneurial intentions, while 53% of the same group are inclined to opportunistic entrepreneurship. When entrepreneurial intentions were examined by gender, female students are undecided, while male students are intentioned to entrepreneurship. An examination of students' propensity for two basic types of entrepreneurships by gender revealed that female students are significantly inclined to creative entrepreneurship, while males are significantly inclined to opportunistic entrepreneurship. These results are expected to provide a concrete and meaningful indicator for relevant literature, institutions, and the sector.
